God gave Mike a task: to lead a snail for a walk. However, the snail moved incredibly slowly. Mike rushed it, threatened it, and scolded it, but the snail only looked at him with an apologetic gaze, as if to say, “I am doing my best!”
Angry and frustrated, Mike pulled, tugged, and kicked the snail. The snail got hurt and moved even more slowly. Mike almost wanted to leave the snail behind, but he was afraid he couldn't explain it to God. So, he had no choice but to be patient, letting the snail crawl at its own pace while he followed at a nearly stationary speed. At that moment, Mike suddenly smelled the fragrance of flowers; it turned out he was in a garden. Then, he heard the chirping of birds and insects and felt the comfort of a gentle breeze brushing his face. Later, Mike also witnessed a beautiful sunset, brilliant twilight clouds, and a sky full of stars. Only then did Mike realize God's clever intention: “He didn't ask me to lead the snail for a walk; he asked the snail to lead me for a walk!”
