When I was a child during the Mid-Autumn Festival, I could never listen to the story of Chang'e; my mind was always preoccupied with mooncakes. Now that I am older, I can no longer eat mooncakes, but my heart is always with Chang'e.
In life, we inevitably face various attacks from others, especially those with intentional harm, which often put us in awkward situations. One way to deal with such circumstances is humor, as it is full of wisdom and human touch. It allows us to express dissatisfaction more effectively while leaving the other party without a handle to grab.
Only when "trust" comes first can our words have power and weight. Breaking conventions is a form of creation, whereas being afraid to challenge authority and sticking to old ways only leads to stagnation. A person who merely follows others blindly will never see the light that belongs to them.
Whether giving or receiving pity and alms, both parties are pitiable because they are impoverished. What they lack is not just wealth, but more importantly, the ability to survive and hope for life. What traps our hearts is not external things, but what lies deep within our souls. Thus, "drawing a circle and imprisoning oneself" is because our minds are controlled.
Life often feels arduous, forcing us to witness countless times how life twists and deforms under various heavy pressures.
