The business world is like a battlefield, and doing business is like engaging in war. A businessman is like a general commanding thousands of troops. A wise general often occupies favorable terrain to ultimately achieve victory. A visionary businessman should deeply understand this principle.
Today, it may be difficult for us to truly experience the affection between brothers. This is not only because there are increasingly more only children who have never had such a real experience, but also because modern material civilization has deepened the barriers between people. The Buddha said that 500 glances in past lives are exchanged for a mere passing encounter in this life. People from different provinces, different ethnic groups, and different living environments can meet, and this is a kind of fate. If fate pulls people together, then sincerity makes their hearts more closely connected.
Missing a person makes the heart feel as if it is overgrown with withered grass, rustling in the wind. When the phone rings, one always feels anxious; upon seeing the caller ID, however, one feels deeply disappointed. When seeing friends appearing in pairs, the sadness in one's heart becomes even heavier.
“One should not have the heart to harm others, but one must have the heart to guard against others.” This is the baseline we should have when dealing with others in social interactions. However, being too cautious can lead to the suspicion of judging noble people with petty minds. Not only is there a lack of trust in others, but also suspicion arises: suspecting friends of speaking ill of you behind your back; suspecting colleagues of speaking negatively about you in front of the boss; suspecting a partner of keeping a secret stash of money; suspecting the person you entrusted of not handling things with sincerity... Moreover, one is constantly on guard against the other, afraid of falling into a trap. Do not forget that everyone is a wise person. If you are suspicious and defensive towards them, they will not treat you with sincerity either.
