Our work is not merely that of teachers, workers, merchants, salespeople, or leaders; fundamentally, we are engaged in the "people business." As social beings, we cannot exist in isolation. Therefore, true success requires both living authentically and possessing the empathy to consider others. The underlying motivation behind one's actions determines their demeanor, which in turn influences how others perceive them, ultimately deciding the outcome of interactions. No one can avoid dealing with others, so no one can achieve their goals without regard for the feelings of those around them.
There is no such thing as a successful business, only successful people.
Considering others is not easy, but failing to do so is even more difficult. Successful people have tried every shortcut, only to realize that the only true path to success is steady, step-by-step progress. Impatience is the enemy of success; when you rush to get what you want, you inevitably harm others and end up slowing your own progress. True sages are brave enough to express their unique style but never forget to think about others.
Always keep company with those more successful than you.
If you are the most successful person in your social circle, you may find it difficult to advance further. Do not be afraid to interact with great minds. The most successful people are often those who are best at getting along with others. When you consistently associate with top-tier individuals, you are more likely to absorb better success principles and qualities. The presence of successful people either provides ordinary people with immense motivation or significant pressure. Successful people are essentially ordinary; the only difference is that they do certain things more or less than the average person, which leads to their success. Surround yourself with champions, and you naturally become more likely to succeed; mix with the average, and you will gradually become ordinary yourself.
