How do we move forward while carrying our "shells"? After the students shared their thoughts, three short stories were told:
Story 1: Hans Zimmer, a fitter from Frankfurt, Germany, has been passionate about music since childhood. He had an unchanging goal in his heart: to become a master of music. He used his manuscript earnings to buy an old piano and eventually became a key figure in Hollywood film music. At the 67th Academy Awards, he won the music award for the world-famous The Lion King.
Insight 1: You must strive with all your might!!!
Story 2: American master Napoleon Hill once told this story: Selma accompanied her husband to a base in the desert. Due to the harsh environment, she was very unhappy. Her father wrote back to her with just two lines that changed her life: "Two men looked out from the window of their cell. One saw the mud, and the other saw the stars." From then on, Selma decided to find her own stars in the desert.
Insight 2: You must remain optimistic!!!
Story 3: One day, a farmer's donkey accidentally fell into a dry well. The farmer decided to fill the well with dirt. As the dirt landed on the donkey's back, it shook it off and stood on top of it. In this way, it stepped out of the well, one step at a time.
Insight 3: You must be strong!!!
IV. Next, let us recite some inspirational quotes
A sharp sword comes from grinding, and the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from bitter cold / Heaven moves vigorously, and the nobleman strives to be self-improving / When the long wind breaks the waves, I will hang the cloud-sail and cross the vast sea / Three parts talent, seven parts learning; the slow bird flies early to enter the forest / A bell does not ring unless struck, and a person is not inspired unless they learn / There is nothing difficult in the world, only the determined cannot be stopped / There is a path in the mountain of books, with diligence as the way; in the sea of learning, suffering is the boat.
V. Students summarize by connecting to reality:
Students shared their reflections: We must cherish time, study hard, and strive to realize our dreams, living up to our parents' expectations.
