In life, we must cultivate the "Five Selves": self-knowledge, self-confidence, self-awareness, self-reliance, and self-discipline. In daily living, we should observe the "Six Prohibitions": refrain from indulgence, addiction, laziness, worry, isolation, and blind conformity. When facing life, choose a smile; when facing friends, choose sincerity; when facing failure, choose to rise; when facing success, choose humility; when facing loneliness, choose reading; when facing deception, choose reflection; when facing misfortune, choose resistance; when facing the weak, choose to help; when facing the wicked, choose to expose; when facing illness, choose to fight; and when facing death, choose to accept nature.
Because we choose, we miss out; because we miss out, we lose; because we lose, we learn to cherish; because we cherish, we gain; because we gain, we choose again... All things in the universe cycle like a drama. Do not force things deliberately; eventually, there will be causes and consequences, and everything will fall into place naturally.
Every instance of being crowded out or criticized in the past will prove useful at some future point. Even if the crowding was innocent, the criticism unjust, or the arguments futile, if your heart remains calm, your years will be safe. Therefore, no suffering is wasted; Endurance itself is a superior ability. Do not boast, do not argue; be a learned person. Do not be hollow, do not be frivolous; be a substantial person. Even if life eventually withers, grow old with grace.
If a man actively carries your bag, keeps you on the inner side of the road, or pulls out your chair, do not be overwhelmed with gratitude. This only indicates that countless partners before you taught him these details. The woman who truly changes him and remains in his memory is not the one who simply enjoys these courtesies. Therefore, the more perfect a man is in his details, the greater the challenge he presents to women.
The ancients said, "At thirty, one stands firm." Upon growing up, one should have a stable residence, a regular routine, and a focused career, so that parents can finally find some peace of mind. Confucius often said, "If one does not learn in youth, they will be incompetent in old age." As children, we must strive for self-strengthening in our youth; do not waste time, lest we pass through life empty-handed.
