Time changes, and so do people. Let go of what you cannot carry; view with indifference what hurts you; stop trying to understand what remains beyond reach; and smooth over what you cannot hate. Life is a process of self-cultivation. Why use a restless heart to view people and events, only to degrade yourself and waste your years? We are all passersby in this life; why create so many knots? Be grounded, view the pains of life with lightness, be detached from fame and profit. One thought can lead to heaven, another to hell. Happiness is determined by the heart, much like the presence of air—you only notice it when you breathe hard, but if you breathe until you gasp, you develop a fear of loss. Clinging to happiness often leads to unhappiness.
Let past events scatter in the wind. Life is full of inevitabilities. Every sunrise and sunset, every blooming and wilting of flowers, carries a sadness that brings tears, creating numerous helplessnesses. The wise gain enlightenment from this, while the foolish only harbor resentment. Whether you love or hate, cry or laugh, life continues.
Life is about adjusting one's mindset. There are many passersby in life. No matter how much you are reluctant to let go, passersby will eventually leave. Do not overly concern yourself with those around you or deliberately pay attention to others' affairs. There will always be people who make you sad or angry. It is not necessarily because they are bad, but because you care deeply.
Because of life, some choose to escape消极ly; because of life, others choose to smile actively. In fact, life is full of bitterness and contains different flavors of joy, sorrow, bitterness, and sweetness. However, life has not owed us anything; at least, it has given us life and space to exist. Therefore, there is no need to keep a gloomy face. Only those who know how to smile can hold life's hand tightly and walk the path of reincarnation with a smile.
